Hello there!I'm Clara - a research associate working with Dr. Erica L. Larson at the University of Denver. I completed my MS degree in ecology and evolution with Dr. Tom W. Quinn and Dr. Robin M. Tinghitella, where my research interests were largely directed towards population genomics of threespine stickleback fish and studying how a change in sexual signaling influences speciation in this system. I'm currently working on several projects with Dr. Larson that broadly investigate how evolutionary forces and the evolution of reproductive traits drive speciation and species diversity (using crickets!).
When I'm not busy trekking through streams and rivers in the Pacific Northwest or studying fish and crickets in our lab in Denver, you can likely find me in a pool, in a gym, or snuggling with my dog. Use the links in the menu to learn more about me and my research! Also, check out this article to see how I was able to combine some fun paddleboarding and science! Thank you for visiting my website and please contact me if you have any questions! |
